MaMa Kelly SHOWREEL
A short impression of a day at MaMa Kelly. From eating lunch extensively in the Café with an open kitchen, to having drinks and dinner on our terrace or in the Boiler House, to then dance till the last hours of the newest edition of Klup Kelly…
On Sunday June 4, it was finally time for the sold out second edition of Klup Kelly. How fun was it? Really fun! Luckily uncle Steef made a video recap so that we could also reminisce on this amazingly beautiful evening. It wouldn’t surprise you if we already spill the beans that this party will definitely be coming back!
Battle Of The Chefs
On Thursday May 25 MaMa Kelly’s first edition of Battle of the Chefs took place: three different top chefs who not only prepared the meals for the guests, but also came to the tables to serve them and tell how the meals were prepared. A combination of gorgeous weather and very lovely guests made it an unforgettable night. And the best news? In June Battle of the Chefs will be coming back! With our famous lobster taking the lead role.
Chicken Is Eaten With Your Hands
One of MaMa Kelly’s specialities. You take is classic, spicy, with garlic or oriental. But how do you eat it? Executive chef Ijsbrant Wilbrenninck explains this in his own way with pleasure.
Lessons in Lobster
The second specialty on the MaMa Kelly menu. Without a doubt a beautiful delicacy, but often you can enjoy it even more if you know how it should be eaten. Our executive chef Ijsbrant Wilbrenninck teaches this with pleasure.
Our visit to the next supplier was just a 3-minute walk, because the men of beer brewery Kompaan, are literally our neighbors. These heroes of The Hague who just won the award for “Best Beer of the Netherlands” with their delicious “Bloedbroeder” (Bloodbrother) gave uncle Steef and Daphne a very good reason to try…uhm, to interview founder Jeroen.
It goes without saying that MaMa Kelly now serves this crowned beer with pride. “Delicious with a well grilled chicken”, says Jeroen from Kompaan. We definitely approve.
Another supplier who knows how to differ herself from mass production in many different ways: Marie-Stella-Maris. This water is not only eye candy, but also thoughtful for the world. How? Emma tells herself with pleasure.
Denham The Jeanmaker
Jeans, white shirts and aprons from so called “virgin denim”. They are delivered by our friends from the Dutch jeans label “Denham the Jeanmaker”. Uncle Steef paid them a visit in their headquarters in Amsterdam.
